This property totally exceeded my expectations, even though I stayed one night. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I felt like at home. I was allowed to check in much earlier. When I came back to grab my backpack a few hours after check out, I was offered a clean towel and a possibility to take a shower before boarding on a bus. I don't think I have ever seen such client-friendly service anywhere else. WiFi signal is very strong and stable. The surroundings are quiet. The rooms are clean, beds comfy. I totally recommend this place!

As a solo traveller I'd wondered what the vibe would be like after reading other reviews, but actually it was great! I met other people by just chatting in the kitchen or the communal area outside, and easily found people to go to the waterfalls with one day and the ruins the next. The staff weren't really involved in making it social but they were friendly enough and were very responsive if I asked for something. You'd see people walking around a lot in uniform that says 'Security' so I can see how this might feel weird to some (and it's definitely different to most hostels), but they weren't at all intrusive and for me it wasn't an issue: I didn't feel like I was being scrutinised. I arrived on a night bus and couldn't check in early but could shower and make breakfast etc, so it was fine. There was no hot water in the shower in my dorm but there was in the showers nearer to reception, so I just used those and it wasn't an issue. The hostel is more expensive than I'm used to so I only stayed two nights, but otherwise I would've been happy to stay longer. And it seems like all the hostels are more expensive in Palenque, so for the quality I wouldn't say it's bad value for money.

an absolutely perfect place, spacious room, good bed, huge bathroom with hot shower. kitchen for use and a swimming pool. walking distance from the centre. Very friendly owner & staf.

Great people, great hostel! I was robbed my passport and cb (in ADO night bus) and they let me stay for free as much as necessary and helped me with calls etc. the hostels itself is great, near the bus station everything is at walkable distance including the ruins apparantly. the rooftop is nice with good wifi. There is kitchen, gameroom and a constant flow of nice backpackers coming in. The bed are very comfy and steady with load of space  in the room.  Area around seems calm, cctv inside with kindest host ever!
