There's a lovely little common patio and a common area self-service coffee/tea/drinks room with microwave and a part-time reception. The building is situated on a quiet narrow cobblestoned street in the historical center. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and kind. I had a little problem with the A/C one evening and they responded quickly to solve the issue. It was a very enjoyable stay and I hope to return.

This was my first experience with a room with a shared bathroom (well, if you don’t count living in a student dormitory 15 years ago), so I was quite pessimistic about such an option. In fact, the entire hotel is absolutely new and perfectly clean. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel, two bathrooms. The bathrooms are very warm, everything is perfectly clean, there is shampoo in individual packets. Contactless check-in through the web page did not work for me, but the host opened the door remotely when I called him on WhatsApp. The host speaks English. The location is right in the city center, we arrived in the city late but felt completely safe. Ferrara is a very charming town, there are no crowds of marginalized people on the streets as in some other places. This is a very good option for the price (45 euros), I recommend.

Spare, functional, thoughtful amenities, chic. Everything was considered. The self-check-in, genius. The fantastic smell upon entering, inviting. The luggage lockers, so thoughtful. The clean spareness of the hall and rooms, tasteful. The art, sophisticated! The room was SPOTLESS and the climate was perfect, as it was so hot outside. The air-conditioner was CLEAN, which is RARE! The bathroom has an awesome towel rack, wall hooks, thick cotton squeeky clean ROBES and SLIPPERS!!! The SHOWER was a DOUBLE shower, so if you wanted to shower with your Honey, you could, which we didn’t, because we had our son with us. Complimentary mini-bar and snacks were left for us. The hotel has a great restaurant right below it in a very central location, with a taxi stand directly in front. It couldn’t have been more convenient. We rented bikes from Hotel Annunziata and we explored so much of Ferrara we never would have had the energy to cover on foot and cycling there is a blast! I can’t imagine having a better stay anywhere else. We highly recommend.

The location is also excellent, just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast was in the garden and was fantastic. Katerina is very friendly and a lovely host.

The apartment looks very new, it is impecable very centric, Francesco is very kind and welcoming. Even had some cookies and water for me which was very appreciated. The place has perfect location to be near the station and near the historical town. The building was a convent but was remodel, so it has a very cool appearance but the interiors are new and comfy.
