Couldn't recommend this place enough! Luca was super helpful and friendly. He booked us in for a couple of wine cellar visits and also provided information about other activities such as truffle hunting. He came by when we were checking out to help us with our bags which was very appreciated. There was a problem with the wifi but he provided a solution straight away. He was easily contactable on whatsapp and always wanted to help and make sure we were ok. The views here are stunning and it's so nice and peaceful, a great place to be able to relax and enjoy some wine. The unit has everything you need including coffee pods, milk and even some chocolates, plus a good shower with really good pressure. There's conveniently a washing machine and dryer just downstairs which is particularly useful if like us, you're traveling for a while. Thanks so much Luca, we hope to be able to come back sometime!

Special mention for the host, Gianluca, who at all times offered to help us in any matter (tips on restaurants for lunch and dinner, breakfast at the agreed time etc etc). Thank you very much!!! It was a fantastic location. In fact for being in the center of the town of Alba it was surprisingly quiet. In addition to the white truffle festival there was another medieval festival happening the weekend we stayed and none of the noise was audible from our room. The apartment pictures are accurate and it is truly a lovely place. Giancarlo was an excellent communicator and even picked us up at the train station. He also made a dinner reservation for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. The apartment also had a convenient kitchen with Nespresso maker which made my husband very happy. And given the unseasonably warm temperatures we loved the AC.

The room was spacious with a large bathroom, very clean and overlooking the main street leading to Alba centre. The breakfast is ample and served in the breakfast room. B'fast was made up of a good choice of cheeses, bread, cereals and local hams, nuts, omelets, etc which was a great start to the day. Erica is very helpful and goes beyond what is expected to ensure her guests are comfortable and looked after. I would recommend Le Albarelle to anyone looking for a personalised experience with a lovely host.

She showed us nice places to visit, she gave us a ride to and from the city and her breakfasts were really great. The apartment was very clean and cosy. It was 38C, but luckily she installed an airco, so that was great. We used our bicycles to move around but unfortunately, there are not too many designated bike lines and traffic can be intimidating on the main roads.
