We spent 14 happy days here. The apartment was small, but very comfortable and cozy. Katerina (the owner) designed this place in a very tasteful way making the space feeling homey and relaxing. The place was impeccably clean and organized, it was safe and peaceful. The best part was that the location in the REAL Athens neighborhood - no tourists, just real local residents. There are many supermarkets available within walking distance, so you could self-cater if you would like. Even though there was no cooking stove (only microwave), we still enjoyed many meals at home along with several local food options. The kitchennette had an electric tea and cofee pots, a few plates and cups, glasses and variety of teas and instant coffee packets (along with cream and sugar packets) in addition to a couple of complimentary croissants privided by the owner. In the evenings, we also enjoyed a private outdoor roof-top terrace attached go the apartment . The metro station was about 15 minutes walk, and it is about 5 metro stops to the very center of Athens. We highly recommend to purchase a super economicsl 5-day unlimited travel pass and enjoy exploring Athens by metro, buses, and trams.

We felt so welcome! This appartment in a quiet area is lovely and impeccably clean. Nicole and her family are discreet, friendly and very helpful. They have thought of everything their guests could need. There were even fresh flowers on the table! The windows can open and have screens so the appartment is well ventilated, the bedroom is spacious, the double bed is clean and has a good mattress, the living space with comfortable sofa and the bathroom with shower had everything we needed. There is also a workout area. The appartment is 7 minutes by car from the Athens medical centre and it was easy to find a place to park our car near the house.

Giannis is a wonderful host. He is nonstop available and always ready to help you with things, favors and useful tips. I have stayed at many hosts in my travel life but never as good as at Giannis's. The apartment is very nice and comfortable and on a very good location, close to Victoria square which gives solid communication both by feet and public transport. Don't hesitate if you want to experience the beauty of Athens at this place!

The room has direct opening to a large terrace with a beautiful panoramic view.Our hosts were extremely nice and friendly....even served us dinner cooked from their own groceries since we hadn't stopped to buy anything on the way from the airport (we had a rental car,it was dark and we were a bit stressed out in traffic).We had a pleasant chat with them on the dinning and living room where there was a real wood,welcoming fireplace.The bed had warming,adjustable electric "blankets" under the bed linen on top of the matresses which were a bonus during November nights,although I personally only used it only for a bit before sleep time.We had a cat with us and she seemed to enjoyed the stay there ,too.We highly recommend the accomodation at "Ideal Forest Room ".It's a 10 out of 10,definitely.

What a wonderful week's stay at Kolonaki Apartment. The owner, Mr.Dimetra and his "rescue" pup, Amalie, were a joy to be around! Mr. D. was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and its attractions; the location could not be more perfect!!! A great super market is at the end of the small residential street. You can walk to Syntagma Square in 10 minutes!!! From there you can walk to Monasteraki in 10-15 minutes and "shop til you drop" with great souvenir bargains! The Acropolis is within sight of Monasteraki and walk-able. The apartment is located near Syntagma Square, on a small residential street, surrounded by embassies, the closest being the French embassy. A great super market is just at the end of the small residential street. The apartment is very quite at night considering the proximity to Syntagma. You have a private bedroom, a large bath, access to kitchen, fridge, oven, dining room, living room, and balconies. The apartment is very spacious and reminiscent of a bygone era of luxurious city apartments that were the residences of the Athens's elite and affluent citizens. You share the spacious apartment with Mr. D, but he is never intrusive. He is gone during the day, working at his job and walking Amalie. Amalie is a most gracious and well-mannered host, more than happy to spend as much time with you as you want. There is a nearby wonderful museum, the Benaki, within 5 minutes from the apartment. It has great Greek artifacts, Greek traditional fashions, and currently an exhibit by the artist, John Craxton. Mr. D also recommended a wonderful restaurant nearby and it served one of the best meals of the Athens visit!!! Ten minute walk from the apartment. Tzitzikaskio Mermigas. Mr. D will answer any question you might have and make helpful suggestions. He will arrange for a taxi at the front door to see you on your way.

Nektaria is an excellent hostess, she anticipated all my needs and requirements that I had while staying at her house. Little Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It’s a very comfortable house for 2 people and for 3 if needed. Anything you need you can find it in the house. Wonderful courtyard to sit and drink your coffee overlooking the beautiful garden. An oasis in Athens. Close to the metro station just two minutes walk. Supermarkets and taverns are all nearby. I sure am coming again soon. Thank you Nektaria

Està a 1 min caminant de l’entrada de l’Acròpolis, té la parada de metro Acròpolis gairebé davant de la porta d’entrada a l’edifici, caminant com a màxim 10 minuts tens molts llocs d’interés per visitar, restaurants al mateix carrer de l’apartament, supermercat i forn molt a prop … Les habitacions són grans, tenen aire condicionat i calefacció! Rentadora i espai per estendre! Cuina equipada amb tot allò que és bàsic i necessari. Apartament tranquil i molt net! La nostra estada ha estat fantàstica!
