The lady was very helpful and polite. The room was clean and tidy, bathroom as well. The location is just the opposite side of the bus stop, which makes travel plans much easier :) The room has a water boiler, coffee, tea, milk and sugar.

Nice quaint location, 5-10 min walk from nearest bus stop. Large space with en suite amenities like fridge, washing machine and all necessities for living. We appreciate the effort taken to improve the property as most past reviews were considered and changes were made. Had a pleasant conversation with the owner before leaving.

We absolutely loved staying at The Forge! We stayed in the Plucking Room and the bed was SO COMFY! The room was very well equipped and everything was thought of. The hot tub was AMAZING and Liz was very helpful and accommodating! Really good quality breakfast ingredients and very tasty home made treats. The area is lovely with two really nice pubs down the road. We 100% recommend and already booked again.

Not only were staff/owners willing to let me check in early, but they even texted me to let me know when the room would be ready (HOURS before official check-in time)! I really appreciated that! Truly hospitable. The room was sparkling clean, and the bed was comfy.
