Our stay at Dominique's home was a highlight of our visit to Grenoble. Our room was comfortable and quiet, even with the windows open. The AC option was appreciated on a hot day. The home is not in old town, but in a quiet neighborhood a short walk to the tram or just a little farther to the heart of town. Breakfast was generous, with homemade tart, fresh bread and homemade jam, croissants, local cheese, delicious yogurt, fruit, and more. Dominique is a kind and thoughtful host. She provided everything we might need- extra toiletries, a fan, a kettle in the room. She gave us privacy but we appreciated her interesting and helpful information about Grenoble at breakfast. She went above and beyond by leaving breakfast for us in our room the night before we had to leave very early. We would love to return.

the location was fantastic, the lady that rents out the room is really nice. The room is very cosy and quaint. The staircase up to the room is a wooden spiral staircase up to the 4th floor which was a shock when we first arrived with motorbike luggage but very quaint and something to remember.

It was nice to have a kitchen with a microwave to use for ready meals etc . The shared bathroom was basic but ok . The bedroom itself was quite comfortable with a nice soft mattress and a lovely view of the alps from the window
