The staff were exceptional. Luis at reception was super. There is a lovely atmosphere there and it was easy to feel at home. Although the building might be a little bit old, the rooms are cleaned really well. Bar also does good coffee and lovely pinchos.

The Posada El Trasmerano is located in the town of Argoños, about 4 km from the Cantabrian coast. It has attractive gardens, a terrace, free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking.

I really enjoyed staying and wish I could have stayed for more than one night. Unfortunately, this visit was only a layover. And the breakfast was fantastic, including the eggs and coffee. Please let them know I will be back for a much more lengthy stay.

The location was okay for my purpose. The owner, a man in his late fifties or sixties was pleasant, he gave me an extra blanket.
