Stayed at the Hostal La Isla twice in one week. At the beginning and at the end of the week. Whilst cycling around Menorca in between. Both stays were excellent, the staff were very friendly and the accommodation was very clean and tidy. Would recommend this Hostal, very good value for money !

Hostal Jume - Urban Rooms is situated in the centre of Mahón, 200 metres from the city’s port. This guest house has rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access.

The Jume has simple, bright décor. Its air-conditioned rooms feature flat-screen TV’s.

Great location next to the large central market in the upper town. Walked directly into the old town, but also near access (stairs) to waterfront which also has access to free elevator adjacent to market (which used to be a cloister). The hotel has easy check-in, and terrific garage space which is available to reserve ahead of time (12 euros per night). We enjoyed the light buffet breakfast with everything one would need for (10 euros per person, per morning). Hot water kettle access in reception area is handy (we carry our own tea and instant coffee) but can also pay one euro for tea of coffee pod for Krups machine. I would stay here again as I don't need to be in the heart of the old town. This was a quiet few steps away from the action.
