City-Pension-Dortmund is ideally located in central Dortmund, just 5 minutes’ walk from the historic town hall and Stadtgarten Park. The rooms offer free WiFi and cable TV.

I am a traveller with basic needs. I don't need a load of facilities, just a quiet room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom and City Pension was perfect in that respect. To get two nights for around €100 was already good but I knew there would be compromises but, in terms of the basics, nothing at all was compromised and was to the standard I'd expect from a far more expensive place. I also wanted to say a special thank you to the guy managing the place who tolerated my problems with the key card with good humour. If you want a no frills place to sleep in Dortmund, this place is hard to beat in my view.
