Very nice boutique hotel near the airport. The owner was kind enough to pick me up and drop me at the airport using Google Translate and messaging.

Ottima struttura con servizio gratuito di navetta per andare e tornare all’aeroporto di Kunming. Si trova a circa 10-15 minuti in auto. Staff molto gentile. Mi è piaciuto anche il villaggio dove si trova, c’è anche un buon ristorante proprio davanti all’albergo.

You will need to like Chinese style breakfast. Home-made baize were excellent, with a boiled egg and some corn on the cob that was not dry or chewy, as well as some "Zhou" (porridge). Also noodles available. You can help yourself to a variety of Chinese tea too, which is nice. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I don't know if there was coffee.

So surprised to get picked up at Stone Forest by the host to the Guesthouse. That was such a warm welcome. Host washed my clothes immediately and looked online to help me book for Dali the following day. Everything was taken care of. The kindest host ever who really tried to make everything work. Breakfast was a delicious traditional chinese breakfast with fresh steamed buns. After breakfast my driver was waiting to drive me to the station. Couldn't have been any more comfortable than this. If you're planning the afternoon at the Stone Forest than this is the best choice.
