Beautiful, comfortable and luxury place. Special architecture. I felt like a VIP in a comfy space. My room was big, with additional relax part. Bathroom was separate, but dedicated only for me. The same for separate full kitchen. There is a grand piano in the lobby that I was allowed to play. Just go there if you can :-)

If you do not mind to stay at someone’s apartment, Au petit bonheur is not a bad option. We stayed just one night in Colombier on our way from Zurich to Geneva. The owner Antonio is very pleasant gentleman, who keeps everything clean and tidy in his apartment. It is nicely decorated as well. The rented room is not small, bed is comfortable, private bathroom. One handy detail is a small mini-bar in the room, where you can buy some soft drinks, beer or wine. The price is just a little bit higher than in a supermarket. We were allowed to use the kitchen and balcony. Parking is available on request. The apartment block is located in a quiet location, kids playground is reachable within 1-2 min walking. We asked to prepare the breakfast pretty early and Antonio made it at 7 for us. The breakfast was very good - boiled eggs, croissants, coffee, cheeses, baguette, yoghurt, melon.

Irma is a wonderful host and I had a great stay! There was a little bit of a language barrier, but we easily resolved that with Google Translator. This was my first stop among many through Switzerland and its location is great; very close to train station, accessible hikes for a lifetime, and a great stop before exploring the rest of Switzerland. Irma was also extremely kind providing me with a transport pass for my time there, which was useful taking the train from Boudry to Noiraigue for the hike down the Areuse Gorge (highly recommend this hike). I'll definitely come back if I'm fortunate enough to visit western Switzerland in the future!

The host is very kind and attentive. I got sick during my stay and the host offered to drive me to the pharmacy. The area is quiet and love see the cats & bunnies roaming in the garden. Kitchen is fully equipped. Definitely come back!
