Seefeld is perfect for a short getaway as it is only 40 minutes by train from Innsbruck City Centre. Trains run every half an hour and once in Seefeld everything is within walking distance. We were self catering and bought food from the very well stocked local shops. There is a SPAR in the centre of the town. Plenty of coffee shops and beautiful restaurants to choose from. The skiset shop in the town centre was excellent and very helpful for ski area tips and buses etc. Book your ski/boot hire from the SKISET website before you go as you will get an online discount and also look for promotional codes in shops like TRESPASS as well. Worth doing as ski hire is expensive.

We absolutely adored this place. It was clear from the pictures that it's rather a simpler acco option and so it was, but it was really comfortable and clean. We didn't miss anything. Cold drinks available at reasonable price (self service at any hour). If you have the room with the balcony access, you can enjoy the evening sun. Seating in garden is available for everyone as well. I saved the best for the last - absolutely 10+ points for the hosts' friendliness. The whole family makes you feel super welcome and their smiles are addictive :) Received excellent advice for spending our short time in Leutasch (we went hiking) and for the restos. Special wishes for the breakfast is not an issue (gluten free for me).
