So clean and comfortable, and the ocean view was great! Enjoyed walking the beach and picking shells. Check-in was easy and the manager was so friendly and welcoming!

Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park is located 700 metres from Hot Water Beach, a popular surfing destination on the stunning Coromandel Peninsula. Very big apartment with 3 bed rooms and well equipped kitchen, washing machine. Very convenient for family stay. 800 meters from hotel to the hot water beach. 20mins drive to Hahei beach. Friendly staff will tell you how to book tours or water taxi :) the only thing needs to be mentioned is that we found a lot of live ants in electrical kettle. We were scared about it.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). The Hahei Beach Resort is directly on the beach. It’s easy to go swimming or watch the sunrise or sunset.

Tasman Holiday Parks – Beachaven is a friendly holiday park set on four acres right by Waihi Beach. Explore the 9km long stretch of white sands, stunning views, great surf and fishing. We found the property to be a great layout and safe especially for our kids. The cabins were clean and not outdated at all. Staff are so friendly and helpful! Location was handy to the beach and not far from the main town. This is the first time we visited Waihi Beach and hopefully it won’t be the last! We loved our time away there even with the rain!
