Located 1 km from Scarlino Station, Casa Vacanze La Tortuga is surrounded by a 3000 m² garden. It has an outdoor pool and country-style apartments with a log fire and satellite TV. Animals on the grounds were a nice attraction for the kids. Decent location for the beach and some quaint villages.

Offering a pool, free fitness centre, and children’s playground, Villaggio I Sorbizzi is situated in Marina di Bibbona, in front of a sandy beach. Excellent location and awesome inside facilities. This is a great place for kids. Definitely will come back again.

Paradù EcoVillage & Resort ligger i Marina di Castagneto Carducci i Toscana, 48 km fra Livorno, og har et privat strandområde. Volterra ligger 37 km unna. This was an amazing few nights stay for us. The resort is fabulous, located by the beach, little chalets are between pines trees. The chalet we had was perfect for our family of 5. There is plenty to do for the kids. Pools were very busy but we didn’t mind as the beach and sea was what we preferred. Our son was the only speaking child in the kids club ( this was. A group for 10 year olds) but the person looking after the group (Abdullah) made sure that our boys felt included and had a great time. The Italian boys were also very welcoming and super kind and so my son had a very good time. We loved the evening entertainment. Food was a bit meh, for Italian beautiful food standards but it was fresh and overall ok for few days (I am not sure I would be happy if we stayed over the week 😀 the cook really needs to learn how to make scrambled eggs. But the omlettes were good). The little shop on the facilities was just great for daily groceries. Overal amazing!

Set in the Tuscan countryside 3 km from Lake Bilancino, Mugello Verde features mobile homes and apartments with a shared garden and playground. This is a great little camp village. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer.

The self-catering apartments at Eden Park Resort are around 4 km from the centre of Pisa and 3 km from the Cisanello Hospital. The location is very clean, quite and private. Every apartment which is quite large has a terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner, a drink or just enjoy the silence and nice air. The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom is large and cozy, the kitchen area is well organized and has all the necessary amenities and the whole apartment has a nice and warm feeling to it. 2 small lakes (a life preserve in the making) are nearby, half an hour walk, and the whole area is very relaxing and green.

With Acqua Village reachable in 2.7 km, Camping Village Mareblu offers accommodation, a restaurant, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a bar and a private beach area. Free WiFi is offered. Offering a restaurant, on-site shops and a wellness centre, Camping Village Le Esperidi is set in a pinewood with direct access to Marina di Bibbona sandy beaches. Free WiFi access is available. The camping site is family oriented which was exactly what we were looking for. The pool is very nice with a wide shallow area for younger kids. We tried the restaurant and the food from the stalls and both were really good. The site has also easy access to the beach where we enjoyed lots of beautiful sunsets. The staff is very friendly and helpful and proficient in English, German and Italian.

Offering a restaurant and free WiFi in all public areas, Glamping Terre di Sacra in Tuscany is located in Capalbio, 700 metres from the beach. The garden is equipped with barbecue facilities. the place was way better than the photos, beautifully designed rooms, large and comfy beds and so well equipped, the location is sublime and peaceful and the staff are so nice and helpful, they even gave us free late check out, so friendly and welcoming
