The place was so peaceful, and the house reef a 10 minute swim away. Good coral and lots of fish. It was so nice that divers and snorkelling were with the same boat. Food is good. It is not spicy, but there is delicious sambal to add if you like. There is a fridge full of cold Bintang and soft drinks. Things are well organised, and Willeke is great and kind host. We had a wonderful time PS. We read that the beach could be polluted with rubbish. But is our travels we have seen that this can happen at any beach if the current is in that direction. Located right on Bara Beach in Bira, Cosmos Bungalows offers a beautifully simple beachfront accommodation where each bungalow has sea view. Free on-site parking space for guests who drive. The bungalows are simple and very nicely decorated. The views are to die for. I loved the stairs straight down to the beach, the hammock on the veranda, simplicity, small scale and the overall value for money. The food is yummy and the staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Also, check out the diving centre next door, GaiaOne Boutique diving.

The restaurant area is very cozy, and you can easily spend a few hours relaxing on the terrace. We also liked the staff, always ready to help and assist you. The manager is very friendly and communicative, with great insight into the area and local costumes. The cabins are spacious, clean, and comfortable , with great views from the front terrace. They are located on the edge of the property, so they have a lot of privacy.
