Lika Sunset is a recently renovated holiday park in Ličko Lešće, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and barbecue facilities. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the seasonal outdoor pool, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. It's hard to put in words how grateful we are for our stay at Lika Sunset. Bojana and Jurica did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable and helped us alot during our stay. They are just wonderful people and you can feel how passionate they are about their work, which is also shown by the amount of effort they put in everything. The huts (which were bigger than I expected), aswell as the beautiful, private bathroom and the kitchen, were perfectly equipped and for us nothing was missing. We really appreciated how well everything was thought through and would highly recommend the acommodation to anyone, who wants a little time out surrounded by nature (you can fall asleep watching the stars) and just wants to feel relaxed. In the near area we were kayaking on the beautiful Gacka River and had very good pizza, for which Jurica even did a reservation for us beforehand! Thank both of you again so much that you were such an unforgettable part of our Interrail journey, we hope we can visit you again in the future and wish you only the best!

Located in the heart of Plitvička Jezera National Park, about 400 metres from the highest waterfall, Ethno Houses Plitvice Lakes Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with LCD satellite TV in an authentic wooden ambiance. The property is just off State Road 1. The property was very clean and the staff gave exceptional service, we needed help with our onward travel and they were very happy to assist. The breakfast buffet was vast and the evening restaurant served very good quality food at reasonable prices considering the area. There was also vegetarian options.

Close to the national park but quite and calm. The resort has a telescope in the garden so you can spot the stars and the moon at night time. We had an amazing time there!
