Overlooking Oxtongue Lake, this cottage resort is 10 km from Algonquin Park. It offers on-site access to a sandy beach and a fully equipped kitchen in each cosy cottage. I just got back from a winter trip to Algonquin Provincial Park. The Lakewood Cottage is super close to the park west entrance. I stayed in the studio unit, which's small, but it had everything I needed. The unit was super clean, well-equipped, and the staff was nothing but attentive and kind.

Conveniently situated off Highway 17, this Sault Ste. Marie property provides free Wi-Fi. A full kitchen is included in cottages and a sauna is located on site. Searchmont Ski Resort is 34 km away. We loved the coziness of the cabins! We went to Sault Ste Marie for fall leaf-peeping, and the cottages were a wonderful start. We also enjoyed the walking path on the property. Having a full and well equipped kitchen was great, too.
