The bungalow & bathroom was clean, very spacious, fairly well equipped and had some books to read which was a nice touch. Fairly good WiFi. Reasonable air con. Well designed fly screens to prevent bugs. Bedside lighting is a nice touch. A bit of a sea view. Nice restaurant/ cafe area and loungers right on beach. Able to rent bikes from here (the neighbours rent them out). Great to listen to the wildlife at night, as well as the monks chanting in the AM and PM. The staff are very friendly. We enjoyed hanging out on the roof terrace of our bungalow as well as the beach. The island has some programmes to support environmental sustainability in which the hotel participates, e.g. each guests gets reusable water bottles and access to free drinking water. They also offer table tennis, badminton and other means of entertainment. It was cool that we had the cheaper option of doing our laundry ourselves using the washing machine by the pool.
