You can’t beat the location here. It’s literally a hundred foot walk from the door of one of the rental rooms to the beach. I woke up and went straight to the water. Couldn’t beat that sort of start to the day! The room did have a decent sized small fridge (useful for extended stays), and a working AC unit, which I chose not to use because i opted to lock the screen door (bonus for that) and listen to the waves as I slept (though not like a baby because as you will read below, the bed was the worst). I ate at the restaurant the evening of my stay, and grabbed a couple of things from their market on my way out in the morning. The staff were all friendly and as accommodating as permitted. I read one poor review criticizing the service in the restaurant and that was not at all my experience. Their pizza was pretty good, better than I had elsewhere in Sicily, and I also got an appetizer plate that had fried olives among other things. It was a little bit of a treat, because I hadn’t had that before. The young man serving that evening was very attentive, beyond what is typical in most European restaurants.
