A well equipped bungalow at a beautiful spot, overlooking the ocean. It had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Nicely furnished, with kitchen space, nicely separated sleeping area, good shower, and a sitting area on the porch with the view of the ocean. The local bathing area was right in front, as well as a good, inexpensieve little bar)restaurant.

Overlooking the village of Velas, Casa Da Encosta is located in the São Jorge island in the Azores archipelago. It offers accommodation for 4 persons and panoramic views of the Pico across the sea. Wonderful stay and great location 120 m above Velas opposite of Pico. Very warm welcome by Gisela and her husband. Great silence and calm as everywhere on the island. Healthy excercise to walk up after dinner.

The apartment is located near the bigger villages on the island but keep in mind that you'll need a car to go to a restaurant.

From the first moment, we felt like home. The owners are extremely hospitable and helpful: a basket full of goodies, fully equipped kitchen, rides to the starting point of walks, information,.... The perfect house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and has a beautiful view of the sea and Pico. Thank you Ulrike and Dirk for a lovely stay!!!

Menawarkan taman dan kemudahan barbeku, Casa da Eira Velha menyediakan penginapan di Fajã do Ouvidor dengan WiFi percuma dan pemandangan gunung. The owners were very communicative and responsive. The place is very cozy and perfect for us as a couple travelling alone. Great patio with hammocks and very well thought out inclusions in the home.

Nice interior to feel cozy and comfortable even in November, we really appreciated the candles :) Kitchen has everything you need and the Beds are comfortable. The shower has a very nice water pressure and everything is very clean. The location is at a Fajã, and thus a little remote- you need a car to come there but you need a car on São Jorge nonetheless. The host gives you great tips on what to do and is very nice and helpful! If we ever come back to São Jorge, we know where to stay!
