Overlooking the village of Velas, Casa Da Encosta is located in the São Jorge island in the Azores archipelago. It offers accommodation for 4 persons and panoramic views of the Pico across the sea. The overall accomodations were excellent, spectacular wide view and landscape to Velas village and to Pico, very near Velas, the house was very clean, the kitchen fully equipped as well as the bathroom. The host was very friendely and always available for any kind support.

The apartment was beautifully fitted out with everything you needed. A real home from home. Fully fitted kitchen area.with a coffee maker and pods. The balcony overlooked a distant sea view. Lucy the owner was extremely helpful in arranging a hire car for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We loved our stay

This is a secluded village - just what we were looking for. It is a very short walk to the water and natural lava swimming pools. The place is extremely comfortable - it has everything you could possibly need!

From the first moment, we felt like home. The owners are extremely hospitable and helpful: a basket full of goodies, fully equipped kitchen, rides to the starting point of walks, information,.... The perfect house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and has a beautiful view of the sea and Pico. Thank you Ulrike and Dirk for a lovely stay!!!

The owners were very communicative and responsive. The place is very cozy and perfect for us as a couple travelling alone. Great patio with hammocks and very well thought out inclusions in the home.

Casa Grão de Café AL is located in Fajã dos Vimes and offers barbecue facilities. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace. Everything was just perfect! Nice interior to feel cozy and comfortable even in November, we really appreciated the candles :) Kitchen has everything you need and the Beds are comfortable. The shower has a very nice water pressure and everything is very clean. The location is at a Fajã, and thus a little remote- you need a car to come there but you need a car on São Jorge nonetheless. The host gives you great tips on what to do and is very nice and helpful! If we ever come back to São Jorge, we know where to stay!
