Large enough to accommodate our family of 5 with no issue. Had a driveway which was great since we had a rental car. Great communication with host. Kitchen seemed to have all needed amenities ( we didn’t use them as we were there for a short while but appeared to have everything needed to make and serve a meal). Excellent view from the front bedroom bed. Wow! Nice to have a porch in the front to take in the view. So awesome to have roosters roaming around. And cows in the field next door. A true small town experience. Walking distance to the Largo and to Rocha snack bar and restaurant. There was even a local cat that came around for snuggles and pets. Wonderful time! Highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay in the villa. The location is perfect in Ribeira Grande, just 10 mins walk to the local beach and pools and 20 mins walk to Continente supermarket. Thanks to Daniel for welcoming us and for morning bread. That’s hands down, the top notch facility in San Miguel to relax and enjoy surroundings.

I loved my stay at Casa do tí Marrão. I booked literally in such short notice, and the host was so kind to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I was blessed with the most amazing cheese made by the host. Although it was just for one night, it was the perfect place to rest and rid an oncoming migraine. I slept so good and felt at home. The apartment was very clean, quiant, and spacious. It was a nice 20 mins walk to the airport, although I never heard a plane. Very quiet and peaceful location. wish I had more time there. I do hope to stay again if available.
