Really safe, well equipped (Nespresso machine and milk frother!), lots of space to relax and cook and eat together with large bedrooms (king size comfortable beds) and good wifi and aircon. Bathrooms were also great with good showers with soap, shampoo etc provided. Safe, secure arrangement for locking the front door and to have self check in and out.

Minffordd Cottage, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Feilding, 23 km from Arena Manawatu, 19 km from RNZAF Base Ohakea, as well as 22 km from Universal College of Learning. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the cottage was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Absolutely loved seeing the alpacas from the back door. We were traveling through and only booked for one night but next time we probably will stay longer.

The kitchen was well equipped to allow us to make a pasta dinner complete with garlic bread and a breakfast of French toast using the fresh farm eggs and milk along with the orange juice supplied that tasted like fresh squeezed. So delicious! We really appreciated that there was also a washer plus dryer to refresh our limited clothing supply! The house was spacious and comfortable. In nicer weather we would have enjoyed sitting out on the deck for our meals. It was close to the city but also was rural so very peaceful and private. Definitely an incredible bargain in today’s market. Thank you!!
