This is a great place to stay for when you want to have your own private quiet space (and a bit more space than a typical hotel room), but still want to be cared for by hotel-like staff. We landed on this place because I wanted to stay in a typical Ryokan, but my husband wanted his own bathroom. It was the best stay of our Japan trip out of 3 hotels that were all far above average. It feels very secluded and private, there are around 10 apartments in total and everyone has their own entrance. There's a coin washing machine as well. There is a small breakfast buffet with really great coffee and they provide some free snacks during the day as well I believe. All in all it feels really kind and caring.

Die Unterkunft 谷町君・星屋旅館・神泉ノ宿 二条城 ist in bester Lage gelegen im Zentrum von Kyōto und hat einen Garten. Das Badezimmer mit der tollen Badewanne und das Bett waren super bequem :) Die Unterkunft hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen :)

I literally liked everything The cleanses the beds the apartment and the stuff were very helpful and polite also i liked the location ,,,, it far from center but its quite and calm and around it 3 to 4 market (one of them in front of you ) also near bus station (like 2 min by foot ) and for train station ( 10 by foot ) And the best thing it is very close to Arashiyama area I really recommend it

Excellent location, fantastic house. Convenient to everything you want or could need. James, the owner, goes above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay at the house and time in kyoto. His guidebook on what buses to take to attractions was incredibly helpful, and the wall map to show what attraction is in which direction. The 3 bedrooms upstairs allowed our family of 5 to have space, and the upstairs and downstairs toilet was very helpful. The house is located from the west exit at kyoto station, near JR office and trains.

Die in Kyōto gelegene Unterkunft Campton Kiyomizu Vacation Rental ist 800 m von Kiyomizu-dera-Tempel und 1,3 km von Bahnhof Gion Shijo entfernt. Amazing location and incredibly accommodating hosts. Unlike other big hotels you really get a sense that everyone there cares and wants to ensure the enjoyment of your stay. We were travelling with a 10 month old and they ensured we had everything we needed. The location cannot be beat right in the heart of Gion, we found ourselves not worrying about the crowds since we were right in the centre of the action and could explore the area whenever we wanted.
