This was one of the most beautiful stays while travelling Iceland. It is set pretty much in the middle of nature and the house was quite big for two people and nicely furnished. The hot tub with naturally hot water was also just an incredible add-on. Would absolutely go there again and also for longer.

Spacious, clean and the host is helpful. There’s a big window inside the room which is great. The house gives you a vibe of lonely planet lol. Love here We didn’t have enough hot shower for 8 people but I guess that’s one of our members taking too much hot water away. Host answered me pretty fast, and send lovely parent here to check. Located on the Westfjords, this holiday home features free WiFi, private parking and a patio. This double storey house is set on the historical Tangagata street of Ísafjörður. Stunning views. comfortable beds. So good to have a washing machine and dryer. Only wish the weather had been better so we could sit outside.

Stóra-Vatnshorn is located 500 metres from the historic Eiríksstadir site and 17 km from Búdardalur village. We stayed in a cozy cabin, fully equipped and super clean with wonderfull views. The place is really quiet to relax away from touristic places but also well located for visiting the nearby area. A little sad that we were only staying for one night. We definitely recommend staying here. Hope to come back in the future.

Kría Cottages is set in peaceful Skeljabrekka, 10 km from Borgarnes town centre. It offers free Wi-Fi and views of the Andakílsá River, surrounding mountains and Snæfellsjökull Glacier in the... Massive apartment, could easily fit 8 pax. Well equipped kitchen. Location was lovely, at the outskirts of the town, around 8 minutes drive, so easy access to plenty groceries and restaurant options. Was lucky to catch northern lights here, places was dark enough for easy viewing.

Erpsstadir Cottage provides self-service accommodation on a working dairy farm. It offers views over Hvammsfjördur and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub. The cottage is nice, clean, comfortable, well equipped (including washer), and the hot pool ready for us was a great bonus. It is in a bit remote location if somebody wants to do sightseeing, but it is a great place for a relaxing time. The hosts were very accommodating. They also opened the shop in the morning when we were leaving and we could have great ice cream, cheese.
