Lake Myvatn: cerca case vacanze

Affacciato sul Lago Myvatn, questo campeggio offre cottage con pavimenti in legno, bagno privato e terrazza, a 500 metri dal Campo da Golf Krossdalur e a 1 km dal villaggio di Reykjahlið. Everything exceed expectations. We stayed in many airbnb and accomdations during our 14 days road trip and I can say that this hits the top 3. Its located on a large compound with hostel, cabin, campsite. Fantastic place to rest, relax and explore.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Situated in Myvatn, within 50 km of Godafoss Waterfall, Slow Travel Mývatn - Óli's Homestay-Private house v is an accommodation offering mountain views. The house is lovely, we recommend! Not just very well equipped with anything you might need, but also spatious and really has a home feel. The hosts put so much effort into making our stay also informative and educational with the many info sheets and traditional items in the house. All the sights are super near by so we could reach the warm home quickly after windy and snowy walks :)
