Lots of nice personal touches from the host waiting for us when we arrived. Very warm and inviting, and also just a short walk to the centre of town. We will definitely be back.

The Nurseries is set in Boyle, 10 km from Leitrim Design House, 12 km from Ballinfad Castle, and 17 km from Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre. Visually appealing (loved driving up to it every day) and inside is light and airy and roomy enough for six of us to enjoy. Nice outdoor space for good weather times. Loved the kitchen view of fields, trees and at varying times of day cows or donkeys. The host, Mary and her husband Brian were fabulous!

The Rathmore House, a property with a garden and barbecue facilities, is situated in Roscommon, 21 km from Leitrim Design House, 26 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club, as well as 27 km from Dr. The setting was rural and peaceful however there was plenty of activities inside the house. It was very clean.

They even bought us some soda bread and potato cakes which was completely unexpected because my wife mentioned it in chatting, which was an amazing personal touch. Looking out at cows first thing in a morning and last thing at night was lovely. Great, quiet, location within 10 minutes drive of Castlerea with a supermarket and a few nice pubs for food. Two minutes drive to one of the major roads straight into Dublin made travelling very easy.

Located 10 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club, Lakeside Cottage provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. April 2024. Beautiful location. Exceptionally clean. Stylish conversion. Every comfort provided - well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and beds, central heating plus solid fuel burners. Information provided on how everything worked. One small issue arose which was dealt with by the owner immediately. Lots of parking. Stayed in many UK and Eire self catering properties over the years. Definitely in top three.
