Lots of nice personal touches from the host waiting for us when we arrived. Very warm and inviting, and also just a short walk to the centre of town. We will definitely be back.

The Nurseries is set in Boyle, 10 km from Leitrim Design House, 12 km from Ballinfad Castle, and 17 km from Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre. Visually appealing (loved driving up to it every day) and inside is light and airy and roomy enough for six of us to enjoy. Nice outdoor space for good weather times. Loved the kitchen view of fields, trees and at varying times of day cows or donkeys. The host, Mary and her husband Brian were fabulous!

The Rathmore House, a property with a garden and barbecue facilities, is situated in Roscommon, 21 km from Leitrim Design House, 26 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club, as well as 27 km from Dr. The setting was rural and peaceful however there was plenty of activities inside the house. It was very clean.

Very tranquil and quite, we woke up to the sound of cows lowing. Only a stone's throw from the N5, while off the beaten track the Old Mill is just an hour away from Westport and even closer to Sligo and Athlone. Gerry and Isabel were amazing hosts and went far beyond what one would expect from a host. We experienced some difficult circumstances during our time there and they were extremely generous in their support. A 5 star rating just doesn't do them justice. On arrival they had soda bread, eggs and milk to get us going. Internet was great and the place heated up in no time. The Old Mill is a place I would love to return to. The area is steeped in history and there is something very special about this lovely spot.

Located 10 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club, Lakeside Cottage provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Right on the lake in a beautiful area. Had every amenity that we needed. Very comfortable and cosy. Would highly recommend.
