Pen-Rhos luxury glamping "Cuckoo's Nest", a property with a terrace, is set in Llandrindod Wells, 34 km from Clun Castle, 36 km from Dolforwyn Castle, as well as 38 km from Wigmore Castle. We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

Situated in Llanafan Fawr, 45 km from Aberystwyth, Cwm Chwefru Holiday Cottages features a barbecue and sauna. Brecon is 30 km away. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the place, fantastic surroundings and only a short drive to town, decent facilities and beautiful grounds including a lake, very helpful and polite receptionist on site for most of the day, shame we did not stay longer but will return. 😍😍😍😍😚😍😍😍😘😘😘😘

Vale Farm Cottages are set on a farm 6.4 km from the Brecon Beacons National Park. The pet-friendly cottages feature either a sun room or a balcony offering mountain views. The cottage was amazing and the facilities were a great addition. The view was outstanding, watching the sun rise every morning from the cottage window was beautiful. Having access to the spa and pool after a day of exploring helped us to relax and unwind. The children loved having their own upstairs space along with all the outside space for playing and running around.

Hay Retreats is located in a quiet cul-de-sac near to the town Centre. There are two neighboring pet friendly townhouses, numbers 25 and 26. Location was great, loved being on the river. Enjoyed the walking bath a long the river.

The location was perfect for accessing the local countryside. The property was comfortable, cosy and of a very high standard. Beautifully decorated and excellent amenities. Fully functional and well equipped kitchen.

Maytree Cottage. Compact home in Mid Wales. Is situated in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, 44 km from Dolforwyn Castle, 44 km from Erddig, and 45 km from Shrewsbury Cathedral. Perfect cozy little cottage with great countryside around (came to cycle). Comfy bed, lovely personal touches with the message board on arrival and biscuits to greet me. Good WiFi, great communication from host.
