We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

The location was absolutely fantastic - so easy to reach pretty much anywhere else in the town. Very handy to have the Spar next door. It was very quiet despite being on one of the main roads. In terms of the place itself - it was so clean and well appointed. It had basically anything we could need, including very thoughtful extras like local milk and bread.

The location was perfect for accessing the local countryside. The property was comfortable, cosy and of a very high standard. Beautifully decorated and excellent amenities. Fully functional and well equipped kitchen.

Maytree Cottage. Compact home in Mid Wales. Está en Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, a 28 km de Whittington Castle, a 44 km de Dolforwyn Castle y a 44 km de Erddig. Perfect cozy little cottage with great countryside around (came to cycle). Comfy bed, lovely personal touches with the message board on arrival and biscuits to greet me. Good WiFi, great communication from host.
