This was the absolute highlight on my trip through South Wales and England! The farm has a great location and is a perfect starting point for discovering the Brecon Beacons National Park. Even the coast is reachable as part of a day-trip. The landscape around the farm is very rural with lots of different animals and a lovely garden. The atmosphere at Alltybrain Farm is very familiar and the hosts, Rose and Patrick are just amazing! I directly felt welcome in their home! They even produce their own bee honey - don't miss to take with you a glass! The homemade breakfast was fantastic, too. If you are interested in getting to know the Welsh countryside and kindhearted people, I warmly recommend this place! 🧡

The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

These contemporary townhouses overlook the River Wye and have car ports out front, that can accommodate up to two cars . Great river views and central location were perfect. Modern, tidy house, well equipped, very clean and comfy beds.
