Wellington
The 1-bedroom holiday home comes with a living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and oven, and 1 bathroom with walk-in shower. A private entrance leads guests into the holiday home, where they can enjoy some chocolates or cookies. The property has an outdoor dining area. Clean, comfortable, easy to find, easy to check in and out, lovely grounds to walk around, very peaceful, exactly what I needed for a couple of nights while working in the area. You have control of the heating yourself; I generally prefer it cooler and sometimes struggle with overheating in hotel rooms; I know some people are the opposite and either way the control is in your hands. I grabbed this property last minute so expectations weren't high, but I was really surprised that it matches up to the photos, often I find things a little lacklustre in person, but no disappointments.. REAL coffee with a cafetiere was a nice surprise! I've recently been to a few airbnbs that were missing obvious things - this place felt like everything had been thought through, like the owners had considered what they would like to find in a little self-catering accommodation and used that as their guide to fit it out. Owners are lovely, laid back and friendly... so is the cat! Also the gym on site was ideal; its rare I can actually use an onsite gym for my training (squat rack with eleiko bar and plates is a very rare find). note - DO NOT LET CAT INTO GYM he will chew up the yoga mats. Hard to do when he's crying outside the door and its raining though.... I'm already booked in for my next stay in the area - I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Superb stay, excellent accommodation and fantastic hosts. Faultless! 5*****
We stay at White House Holiday Cottages for 4 nights as we had a wedding in the area. The property has an excellent location, 10 minutes drive to Ledbury for Tesco, petrol and takeaway restaurants as well as easy access to the surrounding countryside, villages and cathedral towns such as Hereford.
The Long Barn where we stayed was a home from home, clean, spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms, beds and bathroom were lovely. The house was great for our 1 year old daughter and dog. The woofer was dog bath with warm water and soap was an excellent addition for washing the dog down after muddy walks. There is also a communal clothes washing machine which came in handy, especially with our daughter!
Paul and Angela were lovely hosts and very welcoming - from pre-arrival with their digital guidebook, welcome hamper to delightful conversations throughout our stay in the courtyard.
I would highly recommend staying here

Our lodge was very clean & well equipped. Plenty of towels, cups plates, glasses for the two of us. Very quiet and secluded. Staff were very friendly, good amount of parking. Perfect for one night away with friends.
Pauline was very helpful and cheerful! Very clean room. Option of 2 singles or a double bed. Very comfortable. Great breakfast of course! We could come and go as we wanted, as we had a house key. Pub within very close walking distance and only a few miles to Ledbury.
Dog friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. In a lot of places dog friendly rooms are poor but this was lovely.
Very clean / very quiet. Wish we had stayed longer
Very clean and well equipped property in a very central location.
Very clean, well presented, comfortable and spacious. Close to town and river. Good communication from owner.
I liked it’s old world grandeur and charm, it was in a great location and the room was large and extremely comfortable and quiet. Very clean. The staff in every department were extremely friendly and cared about each person. Food was stunning.
Pam and Geoff were lovely. Nice touches such as Easter eggs left as we were staying over Easter and a birthday card for our son as it was his 1st birthday. Place was very clean and had all that was needed. Great location to visit Forest of Dean, would definitely stay again.
The cottage was very clean with everything we needed for an Easter weekend away. There was coffee, biscuits, milk and even an Easter egg when we arrived. The bath was great after a long day walking in the Wye valley.
