The apartment was really nice, well equipped and very modern compared to others I have stayed in. When I arrived the apartment was very clean and had a wonderful, private patio with barbecue, as promised. Murielle, the owner, was a very, very nice person - she was welcoming and very helpful. If I was ever thinking of going to the area again then I would certainly see if the apartment was available.

Château Maucouvent is a very charming place to stay, situated in a calm and well-kept private park. It is the perfect location to start „la Loire à Velo“: Kilomètre 0 is only a 10 km ride away and can be reached by taking the bike path next to the nearby river. We were staying there with our kids and had two beautiful rooms with a separate bathroom and a little private patio with direct access to the park. All rooms are very clean and nicely renovated. Breakfast is lovely and make sure you don’t miss the home-made dinner! It is at star level and will make every gourmet's heart beat faster. Nathalie and Andy did everything to make our stay an unforgettable experience - thank you so much for your hospitality!

We could not have asked for a better stay. The place is absolutely beautiful with its low wooden ceilings and countryside. Farmhouse feel. We slept really well, everything is really clean, and the host brought us an abundance of food. We were greeted to delicious cookies, baguette, brioche, the next day, and the fridge was filled with delicious homemade jams and an assortment of eggs, juices, milk, butter, everything you would need for delicious French toast, which we had. We were flabbergasted by the hosts kindness. Thank you. The puppy that greeted us outside was really friendly too, and was just begging to play with our daughter.
