We loved that the house is spacious with 3 bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. The balcony has a lovely view and we ate al fresco every meal looking at the mountains and valley dotted with villages and vineyards. The kitchen is well equipped with all the amenities of home. The pool is well situated benefitting from sun from early morning until late afternoon. We enjoyed the games room with pool table in the evenings, the big screen TV, the bluetooth stereo system by the pool and the outdoor barbeque are fabulous. The very spacious secure garage comfortably accommodated our 2 cars.

This property was the most idyllic place I’ve ever booked. The views were spectacular. it was a very cozy cottage. We really enjoyed ourselves. The driveway was very steep and a bit of a challenge. Be best to drive a car that has good clearance and front wheel or 4 wheel drive. The roads in Duoro Valley are pretty tortuous.

The wine making tradition is very present in the first floor of the house, making it rough but comfortable to be in. A lot of tiny little details made the overall experience really pleasant. The second floor (bedrooms and living room) are also super comfortable, specially with the fireplace warm in a cold night. The views and the surroundings are also pleasant. The host, mr. Fortunato was very kind and careful even remotely.

The house design and furniture brought us back to good old memories, with a touch of refinement and creativity. Very tasty fruit, peaches and maracuja, also excellent tomatoes.
