Casa da Pedra - Quinta do Briando has an amazing swimming pool, with a breathtaking view over the Serra de S.Mamede. The house itself has all the necessary amenities and offers a lot of privacy. The location is perfect: in the outskirts of Portalegre, but near to the city center, and just a few km far from other picturesque villages. The house is more beautiful than it seems in the pictures and the terrace where you can eat or rest is wonderful :) Definitely recommended.

The location was great, in the old town. We had to park the car a bit away, which was no problem (but would have been good by the host to inform me that you can not reach the house with the car). It is an old house with old furniture, toilets etc, but everything is clean and working.
