Location was central to the area we wanted to explore. Animals were friendly. Hosts were able to communicate with my English and my very limited Portuguese. Photos and directions were perfect and the listing was exactly as described. Saw fire salamanders on our nighttime walk.

The house is big and well divided, with the games room (with foosball and billiards) in the lower floor, the living room and kitchen in the 1st floor and the bedrooms in the 2nd floor. It has all the amenities you'll need to eat and cook, it has wi-fi, bathrooms and air conditioning in all floors and it has a great fireplace, with wood available for you to use, in the living room. Everything was perfectly clean. The location of the house, in the village of Pêro Viseu, is perfect to visit the region and all of its amazing landmarks and historical villages. We were a group of nine people and everyone enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the region. Finally, Maria do Carmo was always available and very quick to answer any of our questions and Lurdes, who welcomed us into the house, was also very friendly in showing everything.

I was stunned by the place. Just needed somewhere to work for a day. Stayed longer and enjoyed the beautiful quiet village. Definitely going to return...for pleasure not wrk next time. Beautiful place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The warmth and kindness of the house owner's parents added a personal touch to our stay. They generously offered hot tea and were exceptionally helpful throughout our time there. The spacious territory includes a convenient parking space, making it suitable for those traveling by car. The house itself is sizable and comfortably accommodates up to six people, providing ample room for everyone. The bathroom was impeccably clean, and the expansive kitchen was a pleasant surprise. For entertainment, there's a bonus feature of darts, adding a fun element to the stay. The property's location is particularly advantageous for those planning to explore Serra da Estrela.

The house has a great rustic feeling. It's calm and relaxing. The house was cleaned and had everything that we need to prepare our meals. The pool space is amazing with sun all day. The host it's very friendly and helpful, always checking and replying very fast to our doubts. He even manage to arrange a barbecue grill for us. Very thoughtful! I would like to return!
