A wonderful modern house, fully equipped and comfortable, sitting right next to a flowing river in total privacy. The murmur of the water is the perfect background to both sunrise and sgood-nights, and safe with a thoughtful mosquito netting on the window (though we didn't even hear a buzz ehen outside). The place is a wonderful base for touring the region, with several beautiful spots just 5-10 minuts away up river. I wish we could stay longer.

put of the way location way up in the hills. The owners have paid great attention to detail and provided everything we could possibly need. Plenty of comforts, blankets, nice towels, kitchen very well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble, they are so keen to ensure total satisfaction. There were loads of logs and hot water. A beautiful, newly renovated house. Everything is new and sparkling clean. I liked to stay in authentic house built with schist stone. the house was cozy, there were some kiwi on the table collected from tree near by. there was a physalis bush near by entry. There was a stove and I threw firewood and cones there before went to bed. The owner is really pastor so I've seen many goats. Wifi was good and there is everything for cooking.
