The owner was very helpful and accommodating. He provided us with private parking for a small charge, very close to the apartment. The apartment was right in the center, beautifully kept and very clean. There was plenty of room and everything we needed in the kitchen. Highly recommendable.

Iceland
What an absolute gem of a place. From location to hosts to the house itself - a treat from start to finish. You're nestled amongst ancient vineyards and terraces with the most epic views. The hosts are incredible and so welcoming - they recommended the BEST little wine bar up the street for one of our dinners, and even gave us the number to the most amazing taxi driver (Antonio). CANNOT WAIT to stay here again.

Casa Vicente is situated in a rural part of Lamego surrounded by beautiful apple orchards. Our host Filipa said we could pick a few apples which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. It is a serene location away from the town but easily accessible by car. The house is very comfortable and charming. Great to be able to park the car in the driveway of the house. Our host Filipa was very helpful with all our questions including restaurant suggestions. Lovely views of the surrounding country side from upstairs. Huge laundry upstairs equipped with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board and extra linen.

It was spacious , clean and warm. The views were fantastic and our dog loved the very well enclosed gardens and vineyard. We are touring Europe and staying in lots of properties and this is definitely our favourite so far. It was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed some of the lovely walks in the Douro.

The house is a vey cosy fully equipped annexe, close to the main house and the pool, comfortable, light, and spacious for two people, with a lovely terrace and all the commodities. We were very warmly welcomed by the owner and the view is amazing! The location requires taking the car to go sightseeing or shopping for groceries and such, but that is not a problem, actually it’s the normal thing around here if you’re looking for a quiet place to rest. Totally recommend!

It has all the trappings of a home, but if you want a modern fresh, well-appointed apartment this it is not. As mentioned by others there are personal items around that make it homely but also cluttered. Heating system works well for cooler nights, but no aircon for the mid-summer heat.

The hosts were exceptional, very generous and caring. The accommodation was luxury, clean and modern. There was an abundance of amenities, spices, etc. to cook with. Very quiet and comfortable at night, we slept like babies. The views were unbelievable, we spent most of our time on the deck. The salt water pool was fantastic and equipped with outdoor shower.

From the bedroom to the pool, all rooms, indoors and outdoors, were very clean and well looked after. The breakfast was really good. The staff, specially Soraia, Thais and Rosa were absolutely lovely. They knew how to please the guests. Thank you girls to have took good care of us. Definitely, we will come back again soon, because it is a wonderful place to be and to relax. And please, visit the Biological Park too, near of the accommodation and it is a great spot too.

He showed us the room and even gave us some old vintage port wine from the estate. The room was very clean and luxurious.
