This house is just adorable and I really couldn’t understand some negatif comments after staying 4 nights here. The house is a typical small wine cellar (adega) made with volcanic stones, it is very cute and photogenic. It has a terrace with a big table where you can watch the sunset on one side and Pico on the other side while drinking a nice Pico wine. there is another half closed terrace again with a big table where you can make barbecue and enjoy the views. Then in the house there is everything one can need. we prepared full meals without any issue. And the “welcome basket” from the owner is not just a small courtesy gift, it’s like he actually went shopping for us! we had everything needed for the breakfasts (for 4 days) already provided, cheese, yogurts, fruits, biscuits, coffee, tea etc…Overall the experience was incredible, an island like Pico deserves a typical and magical stay like this one. Oh and there was sardine festival in the village when we where there, there was music, very nice people, beer and wine 1 Euro and fresh sardines for free!!

La amabilidad y atención de los anfitriones. Llegamos muy tarde a la casa y nos dimos cuenta de que no le habíamos dicho al anfitrión que necesitaríamos un juego adicional de sábanas. Les escribimos para preguntar si estaban en la casa y se acercaron para dárnosla s. También nos dejaron un detalle de bienvenida. Pero lo mejor es el entorno, el emplazamiento es increíble!

Location is perfect, landscape is very interesting. We travelled the island but I recommend walking around the accommodation as well. Bar for drinks and food is nearby. Communication with host was easy and pleasant. Host left for us some food and gift, thank you. Locals were very friendly, we felt really comfortable there.

The house was beautifully restored. The owners were very accomodating and went out of their way to let me check in early. A real family run business. The restaurant serves local beef. The prime rib looked amazing, but as I was alone I opted for the grilled steak, delicious. Nice selection of wines.

We loved everything about this beautifully designed and built house. With large covered outdoor spaces we were able to be outside all the time. The well designed kitchen made cooking at home fun!

An excellent house for those who want private accommodation in the middle of nature. The surroundings of the house had an unforgettable atmosphere.
