Everything. Location. Accommodation. Serenity. If you could bottle tranquillity up, this is it. Antonio the host is fabulous. History all in a bucket. The castle is private History of his family and delt vwry privileged to have been able to have a private tour. We will be visiting again.

It was a privilege to have met the kind and attentive hosts and to have stayed in such a beautiful estate home. The large home was spread over 2 levels, each bedroom with its own ensuite, well appointed with everything we needed; full kitchen, modern TV and Wifi, and private outdoor spaces. The house was separate from the hosts' house, sharing a large, green estate with an inground pool. The location was idyllic, very quiet, set close to a small town, within 15mins of national park and Braga centre. Would return again in a heartbeat.

The house was beautiful both from the inside and the outside. It was big windows which gave perfect ventilation in the room/kitchen, very spacy rooms. The air-condition is very capable if needed. A nice patio and a nice garden and very quiet and private. Easy parking once you get to the house.

This is a beautiful property with a large garden area with fruit trees and a lovely swimming pool. The house has two main areas, one above with two rooms and an extra kitchen/ living room and an area downstairs next to a large garden area with living room, kitchen , bbq place etc. The house is very clean, well decorated and fully equipped. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. The area is quiet, perfect to relax but also close to great places to visit. Loved the garden by night with carefully placed illumination. A perfect stay!

This converted farm sits in a quiet village overlooking kiwi fields and hills in the distance. There are 3 buildings carefully renovated and traditional. The owner family is in one building and we're delightful, helpful and kind. The gardens are lovely and we'll cared for including a pool looking across the countryside which is shared if 2 sets of guests in each house. We had the smaller house with most things we needed. We picked this partly due to having 2 ensuite bathrooms for the 2 bedrooms. If you want total privacy/seclusion this may not be your best choice, but for us it was just as we hoped. The hosts were wonderful. Bringing us unexpected treats and acts of kindness.

Absolutely beautiful, surroundings are unreal. So sad being back home. Pictures don’t do it justice, beautiful, calm, spacious, gardens are gorgeous. Kids loved swimming in the river. Perfect.
