The view on the ocean is extraordinary. The place is very peaceful. You can walk to a wonderful natural pool in few minutes from the house.

Great house ! Beautiful location, nice local walks ! A few great restaurants near by - good for vegetarians like me. You do really need a car though for exploring this side of the island. The local bread and butter and things left for us on our first night when we arrived was a very nice touch ! And the bread was so good !

The views from the patios were amazing! The house was clean and comfortable. Fatima was very kind and helpful, as well. She even left us a nice little welcome basket when we arrived. This was our favorite stay of the trip!

Dawn is a lovely host! We ended up arriving late due to a storm and she made sure we had some food in the apartment. Her dog Luna is a cutie pie and came to say hi every morning! The location is nice and remote (though most places on Pico are). Kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked two meals there each day. She also provided a dehumidifier and fan which were really helpful.

This is a really exceptional place if you love traditional simple houses made of black lava stone, rearranged with original materials and good taste. The house is spacious and with all the comfort, but still gives the guest a peculiar sense of authenticity. The hosts are very friendly and their hospitality is very much appreciated.

Everything. Absolutely stunning house with EVERYTHING that might be needed during your stay. Especially the kitchen was equipped with all necessities needed for cooking including loads of different blenders, juicers etc.

Absolutely perfect. Located in the charming parish of Calheta, this wonderful accommodation exceeded our expectations and we had everything we needed to enjoy our week on Pico with our 1.5-year-old toddler. We were amazed by the landscape with banana and fig trees, along with the stunning views from the house. While using the binoculars, we spotted dolphins and a whale. In the evening, as we sat outside to listen to the ocean and look at the clear starry night sky, we were lucky enough to spot several shooting stars – a truly unforgettable experience.

The outside terrace overlooked the Atlantic Ocean, the neighborhood is lovely, the swimming hole at the end of the road was exceptional.
