Everything. House well decorated and up to date, with everything you may need during your stay. Nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and everything very clean in general and well maintained. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool because of the weather, it looks stunning! BBQ amazing. We will be back!!!

It was an amazing experience. The house was spacious, bright, and clean, which added to the overall ambiance. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The planning of the rooms was very well thought out, making it easy to move around the house. The house was also very well equipped, which made our stay even more comfortable. I especially appreciated how perfect the house was for mobilities of #Erasmus+. Overall, I would highly recommend Gallo's House to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Barcelos. I don't even know what to begin with. Everything was irreproachable from the house to the hosts. The house is a dream, we felt like movie stars each day surrounded of beautiful architecture, vintage furniture and decorations, huge and perfect clean pool, orange and lemon trees all around the green and calm garden. The breakfast was the most delicious and varied that we ever had on a trip. Each day our hosts prepared traditional dishes, delicious desserts, fresh orange juice and more, everything beautifully placed over the table from the terrace, where we chose to eat everyday due to the fresh air and the beautiful garden view. The wifi was exceptional and we were able to use it both inside and outside the house, everything worked much much better than we could imagine. Maria Filomena and Paolo are the kindest and the most hospitable people we ever encountered. We were their first guests from Romania and they did their best to make us feel more than welcomed. Each morning they offered us a ride to IPCA, the institute where we had to carry out our activities. Even if it was only like 15-20 mins of walking from Casa do Varandão, our hosts took the pleasure in taking us by car to our destination and making us feel, one more time, so so special. We feel so thankful and lucky for having the opporunity to meet them. We miss them already and we are looking forward to see them again soon. It was one of the most wonderful, enjoyable and unique experiences from our lives. We came as guests but we left as friends. Mihaela, Simona & Tiberiu.
