Unique property in beautiful surroundings. Met by the owner who provided us with the history of the property and information on the local area. We spent the afternoon relaxing on the terrace enjoying the atmosphere before climbing into a very comfortable bed for a great nights sleep. Walking the Camino it was a bonus to have a lovely breakfast basket provided!

everything was perfect. Very fast check in even I forgot to send arrival time. We also got some local chees and pastry as welcome gift. Owner very welcoming, caring. equipment is very very good, swimming pool, very nice garden and patio. Quiet place. we stayed only 2 nights, bit nex time I would stay longer.

The house as well as the entire property is absolutely gorgeous. The owners put a lot of attention to the details both inside the house and outside. Everything is amazingly well looked after, it is absolutely clean and very tidy. The house is equipped with everything that one could need and we felt very comfortable. The owners cared for us since the beginning with a proactive communication and even came to look after the pool in between to ensure it is all in order. Sadly we (a family of five with three kids aged 6, 8 and 11) only had time to stay for three nights, but we would love to come back for a longer stay in future. The village itself is very calm and there are some great ancient mosaics to discover in the local museum. And there is a lot more to experience in the area. Many thanks for this great holiday experience!

This is a renovated cottage that is hidden away in the country. It was a wonderful place to sit outside and relax, we basically had the "abandoned village" all for ourselves :). Definitely need a car, but well worth being off the beaten path. Easily accessible to places to visit. It was a little chilly, but blankets & heaters were provided. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything for cooking. Bed was comfortable.

We loved the house. It's located in a very quiet village about 25 minutes from Coimbra and close to the fabulous Roman ruins at Conimbraga. There are other excellent day trips in the area and all the roads are excellent. The house is beautiful and well equipped. It was chilly weather during our stay but the fireplace made it so warm snd cozy. Carla is very helpful - we all managed with Google translate! This is a wonderful stay.
