The hosts were wonderful and so were the breakfasts they provided. There was a little tavern in the village and a small store that were perfect. The Poco Azul restaurant was delicious! We would recomend this house for anyone with a car!

Really nice design of the house. It felt like the house was freshly renowated. Welcoming gifts were very appreciated. There were plants all around the house, which I personally love :) totally recommended for 2 people. The kitchen has everything you want to cook etc. There is a big parking around 30meters from house, so no troubles to park the car at all. There wasn’t a big issue with moist, when you open terrace door you don’t smell mustiness at all.

Villa molto bella e spaziosa con camere e bagni grandi e confortevoli. Cucina enorme e attrezzata. La comunicazione con la manager è molto semplice, cordiale e tempestiva. La posizione è ottima per visitare la zona orientale e centrale dell'isola. Se si hanno a disposizione pochi giorni per visitare tutta l'isola, è consigliabile una posizione più centrale.

Staying in this home for our first trip to Sau Miguel was perfect. Thanks to Dirk & Silke for providing us with a wonderful experience and leaving us wanting more. The hosts are very responsive and great with communication. They have local people available to address any requirements if needed. The house provides spectacular views, a great place to relax after each day of sightseeing or just hang around the house all day if you have free time. Lots of outdoor space and different places to sit. We loved watching the farmers and the neighborly cows. They provide everything you need in the house to be self sufficient. Even some surprise gifts were provided to get us started instead of having to rush out to the store. A nice quiet neighborhood that is still close to everything. You can pretty much reach any part of the island in 90 minutes but there is so much packed in to see. Great for driving around and stopping every 2 minutes for another amazing view. We were lucky to discover the National Park only 5 minutes from the house. Definitely not to be missed with the spectacular waterfalls, old mill houses, walking trails and so much more. We spent 4 days here after being in Madeira for a week. We absolutely have to return to Sau Miguel for a longer stay and this home is our first choice for accommodations. Hopefully we will have more time to enjoy the sun room and the BBQ.
