Kävelymatkan päässä iltaravintoloita. Talo oli siisti ja hyvin varustettu. Oli rantatuolit ja varjot. Lapsille lelut. Keittiössä kaikki tarvittava. Kaikki toimi. Emme osanneet laittaa jääkaappia ja hellaa päälle. Apu tuli hetkessä. Suosittelen lämpimästi. Avevo incasinato le giornate e siamo andati un giorno troppo presto. L'intero appartamento è stato organizzato in 20 minuti. Servizio eccellente. L'appartamento si trova a un paio di passi da una bella spiaggia. Ristoranti serali a pochi passi. La casa era pulita e ben attrezzata. C'erano sedie a sdraio e ombrelloni. Giocattoli per bambini. Tutto quello che ti serve in cucina. Tutto ha funzionato. Non sapevamo come accendere il frigorifero e i fornelli. L'aiuto è arrivato in un istante. Consiglio vivamente.

Situated one block from the end of the main street of Tortoli. Calm, little street, no traffic at all, just the locals. Nice apartment, cool in this heat too without AC. Host is very nice, at our help whatever we desired. Free parking in front of the house. Within a few minutes of driving very good beaches with crystal clear water. Next to the apartment in 50 meters a large shop, you can buy everything there needed. Right next to the shop there is a little firewood-oven pizzeria. Fantastic pizza, very fast, help locals, eat there! Was a bit afraid of the lack of airconditioning but host assured us there is no need, he was right, the apartment was cool in this summer heat. Nice large bathroom with washing machine. Nice large master bedroom and a smaller for the kids, very large living room, nice kitchen! Had a great time! Surely rent again if available! One hint! You can rent a 5 meter 40HP boat for a day for 4 persons for 200 Euros in nearby Arbatax port, worth every cent, no license needed, employees show you how to operate the boat safely. Adventure of your lifetime if you have never ridden a sea boat!

Mara was AMAZING! She met us up the street, took us to the fabulous property, showed us around, and was available if we had any questions. She came over when we left and made us feel loved! The house and surrounding gardens, not to mention the sea, were perfect. There are rows of trees in the front, great for exploring, gardens of succulents and blooming flowers surrounding the house, and a green covered walkway down to the beach gate. We spent many hours on the beach and occasionally walked one way or the other only to come back to this special beach. The water was chilly (~60 degrees F), but my family still swam and loved the clear blue water. The house had everything you needed including laundry, a nice bathroom and kitchen, and a covered patio to get away from the sun or play cards. We ate several great dinners in Tortoli and Arbatax, got gelato almost every evening, walked the trail down and back to Cala Goloritze, and took a 3 hour boat excursion up the Banaei coast. Overall a great five days in Sardinia!
