This was once a mill, built into the rocks, and so the millstream is right next to the house, which gives a lovely romantic touch to the setting. The windows are fantastic, light pours in and there is a great view. The bedrooms are particularly spacious, which is not always the case in a holiday rental. We were a last minute booking, and communication with the host was very good.

The house is located in a romantic and very quite place with flowers, near the Rezzonico castle, large terrace with wonderful lake view, The kitchen equipped with everything you need. Free parking. There are 7 km to Mennagio to take ferry for Varenna and Bellagio. I recommend for relaxa and rest.

We got engaged in this place so for us it will always be magical! The moment we arrived, we could not believe how beautiful it is. We had an absolutely amazing view on the lake, a big open space and plenty of seats and tables. The owner prepared a jacuzzi for our arrival and was very responsive. This is for sure the most beautiful place I ever stopped in and I could not recommend it more, including a cute little restaurant Locanda Lauro 4 min away from the house. Thank you!

This place is absolutely fantastic, if you like getting away from the crowds, up a mountainside, to a small centuries old village with its own duomo and even an outdoor restaurant with amazing views. Probably the best part of the place was the owners, Carlo and Giulia. They were so friendly and just wanted us to have a great time. They (and the place) were authentic, real people and special. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Breakfast was simple but very nice and you could Also sit outside. In the evening there was a restaurant with fantastic food! Hotel is about 7km from Mellgio town where you can get a boat. The bus stop is right at the hotel ( always late though, on Italian time :-) ). Staff was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you want to stay away from the crowds and yet to have easy access to nearest tourist attractions.marzenaGroup
