A very unique beautiful stone house in the historic center of a mountain village. If you like old buildings and want something different from the usual tourist bungalow, this is for you. A great roof terrace overlooks the valley. The village is small but the people are nice, and there is a bakery, a bar, and a butcher. The hosts have a small restaurant in the basement of the house and will cook for you if you so desire. A great place if you want relaxed holidays (and don’t mind the bells of the church next door) and don‘t need a Trip Advisor-rated tourist attraction everyday.

This Villa is simply stunning. For starters, the photos on Booking.com of this property do not do the reality justice. This Villa is located in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It's positioned in the hills surrounded by hilltop villages, all more beautiful than the last. The Villa has everything that you could ever require. It is clear from the moment you arrive that Silvana and Luca have really worked hard to make this a top quality residence. It was also spotlessly clean. It was very, very hot when we went but the air conditioning is very powerful. The pool is bigger than expected and gets cleaned every single morning in apparent silence as we weren't disturbed once. You do need a car here, however that does open up the opportunities to visit many local attractions. I would definitely recommend going to Fortezza Verrucole Archeopark and Parco dell'Orecchiella. Kids will love both, especially the bears at Parco dell'Orecchiella. Both places were recommended by the hosts. We can't wait to go back as soon as possible.

Everything!!!! Truly and deeply I can recommend this place. Casa Gianfrati is located in very friendly and quaint little mountain town. Very friendly people with smile in their faces. If you are looking for place to relax, far from crowded and busy places, this is the place for you. The house itself is absolutely stunning. Built in 1882 in old Italian style from this area. Hot days are not a problem, you have a lovely pool to plunge and swim in. There are some lovely walk on the mountain side. We spent 10 days here and every single one was unique. Not far from the picturesque Lucca. Everyone says Florence is most famous and important pace to visit in Tuscany. I sad you better go to Lucca 😎. Sea cost is also not far. Forte dei Marmi gives Monte Carlo vibes. To say a little bit about the owner, he is like a cherry on the top, truly stand-up guy, any situation. Thank you so much Paolo for giving us the chance to spend holiday in your house. Grazie Mille!

Swimming pool with gorgeous view. Enough privacy, quite environment. Great personal recommendation what to do around ( we did one of the hikes in the Apuan Alps).
