It is a very nice villa, situated in 3-5 minutes walk from a paid beach and 5-7 minutes walk from the public beach (depending on how fast you walk). Also in 5-7 minutes walk away there is a train station, and for 1.5 Euro you can get to Rome (The ride is about 35 minutes long, and there is climate control in the train, which is especially nice during heat). The host was extremely nice and welcoming, helped us with many questions and gave advice on where to go and what to see, where to rent a car, etc. Also on that same train or on bus (the bus stop is super close to the villa) you can get to Ostia (the supermarket is there, and a lot of nice restaurants) and to Ostia Antica (a historical site, that I highly recommend visiting). Normally there is a caffee/bar next door to the villa, but it was closed on vacation during our stay. You can also eat in several beach restaurants in the same neighborhood, where the villa is situated. The villa has all necessary items and facilities: two bathrooms (with a bathtub and a standing shower), washing machine, dishwasher, gas stove, fridge, a very cosy outside table big enough for a company of 6 or more people. Except for the steps on the entrance, other rooms in the villa are rather flat (one of our group had to use crutches when walking, so this was important for us). The steps are somewhat an obsticle, but we managed, given that there were only two of them. There are some trees around the villa, and a place to park a car inside the villa territory, behind the gate. Also there are two doors in the fense: closer to the main road and closer to the seaside. Overall a very good experience.

Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed staying at your place. If you like quite and tranquil places, this apartment would be a great choice. Few steps from the city center, but on a quite street with windows to the courtyard. Vast, comfortable and chilly apartment with everything you need, friendly hosts and 5 minutes from the beach. You can feel yourself cozy and calm, like at home. If we come again to Ostia, we'll try to stay here again, and we recommend this place.

Daily cleaning, very clean, snow white and soft towels, nice bath accessories. Upon entering the room, there was a welcome bottle of water, a small snack, the room has a mini fridge, TV, heater, hair dryer. Sand beach - across the street, many cafes, shops, restaurants around. There is a city bus to the airport, once a hour (1.50 eur), the station is a 15-minute walk away. Definitely recommend!

It was self serve and had lots of choices. The room was very clean and had a nice size bathroom. The train station is within walking distance if you wish to go to Rome for a day of touring. Also reasonable train price, can't really remember but just about 3 euro for train. It was close to walk to restaurants and shops.
