There was a restaurant withing walking distance and a small grocery store nearby in Cheek Point Village. The house was very comfortable and clean. There was an electric fireplace/stove that gave the living room a nice cozy atmosphere. We were close to the car ferry, just a few miles down the road. We used the ferry to go to Hook Head Lighthouse and Johnstown Castle (on two different days). Enjoyed both places very much (not to be missed).

Peaceful location but with plenty of facilities nearby. Had everything we could need at the house if we didn't want to go out. Plenty of space, really cosy and well equipped. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Host was extremely helpful and kept us up to date with info and check in/out details. Would definitely use again.

The location was ideal, so close to Waterford city and Tramore. The beds were extremely comfortable with gorgeous bedding/ sheets used. The host was so helpful and responded quickly to any questions. The owners were extremely helpful and willing to go to great lengths to help you. The house is a great size for a family. We were very happy with our choice of place.
