The rural location was so peaceful and it was a less than a mile into the beautiful village of Schull and the sea. Walking round little winding roads, taking boat trips to nearby islands and visiting long forgotten spots.

I loved the location, no light pollution so on a clear night the stars are stunning. The cottage is well equipped and was pleasantly surprised how warm it was. At night with the lights on is very comfortable and relaxing.

It’s a lovely apartment in a lovely setting couldn’t be nicer really and Stephanie was a wonderful host and very accommodating with my request about washing my linen and towels in fragrance free detergent she was a very warm and friendly host and just a nice nice setting

truly excellent location. We loved the ocean view, the very remote location, and the magical charm of the 100 year old cottage that was lovely and tasteful renovated. It also has a wonderful winter garden with a great view. We also enjoyed the very clear night sky, it was good to finally see the milky way again. But even when it rained so hard that you could cut the rain with scissors, it was a great experience. We also enjoyed NOT having a TV for a week!

GORGEOUS view, home, neighborhood. Bunnies each morning, we even saw a fox! The neighbors are beautiful people and the locale was perfect for all the excursions we had planned. Kenmare, Glengarriff, Priests Leap, Gougane Barra, Healy’s Pass, the Bearra Peninsula, Schull, Mizen Head, and the Fastnet Lighthouse.
